Location-based nurse call for care homes

When a resident needs help, the nurse instantly sees where it's needed.

Iiwari Care combines nurse call and real-time positioning into one clear view. The alarm reaches the right nurses, the location is shown instantly, and help arrives fast.

Part of the same whole: a location-aware nurse call, a real-time situational picture, automation and care work data.

From the resident's perspective

Calling for help is effortless

Residents can call for help using a safety wristband or an alarm button.

The alarm reaches the designated nurses, who hear from their phone where help is needed and can get there quickly. Nurses never need to pick up their phone, so their work continues uninterrupted and hand hygiene is maintained.

How it works

How nurse call works

Pressing the safety wristbandThe Iiwari app showing a resident call
  1. 1

    The alarm is triggered

The resident calls for help with a safety wristband or an alarm button.

  2. 2

    The location is announced instantly

As soon as the alarm comes in, the location is announced instantly by voice. The nurse's hands stay free to work and hand hygiene is maintained, since there's no need to touch a phone. The exact location can also be checked directly in the app.

  3. 3

    The alarm clears automatically

The system automatically detects when the nurse arrives on site. No separate acknowledgements or extra steps are needed.

What sets us apart

What makes Iiwari's nurse call different?

Positioning built into the nurse call

Many systems only tell you the room. With Iiwari, the nurse sees in real time exactly where help is needed, even in shared spaces and corridors.

Alarms clear automatically

When the nurse arrives on site, the system automatically detects their presence. No working time is spent on acknowledgements or handling the system, and hands stay free.

The full picture in one view

The nurse sees active alarms and staff and resident locations, all at once.

Benefits for care work

A nurse checking the Iiwari app's live view on a phone

Less time searching

Information is available instantly, from the right place.

Faster response

The nurse hears and sees straight away where help is needed.

More time for care

Less time spent on the system, more time spent with residents.

A calmer noise level

A resident's call creates only one alert, even if the button is pressed several times – and no alert is sent at all when a nurse is already close by. Unnecessary alerts disappear and the noise level in the care home drops considerably.

The whole unit felt calmer once the constant alarm sound was gone.
